We are the Wild Things

Sometimes the work week gets so hectic, that I can't wait to fill my weekends with some outdoor activities.  Even though my pup loves our daily walks/runs, it just doesn't cut my quota for my desired outdoor time...  Fortunately, we live in an area where there are PLENTY of trails, beaches, and outdoor spaces nearby for us to roam.   So, when that day comes when my husband and I have kids, I will make sure they will spend as much time outside as possible.David Bond [currently] does this with his children.  Bond is an award-winning director, producer and writer.  His film, "Project Wild Thing," was featured at this year's Green Film Festival, and it was inspiring.  Bond labeled himself as the Director of Marketing for the world's best & FREE product -  Nature.  And, it's true.  The great, wild/mild outdoors always lends itself to unknown adventures, unforgettable memories, and natural bliss.

Ironically, I was watching this movie indoors...about getting more into the outdoors..... Nonetheless, I couldn't wait to get outside and enjoy the sun, feel the breeze...Be Wild....  There wasa recent study conducted by the American Chemical Societythat proves adequate time in nature contributes directly to mental well-being.  So, here are some photos to [maybe] inspire you to get into the great outdoors.... Live well, eat well, and exercise!!
