It was a great weekend checking out Zinc Detail's new space, and visiting Bluxome Street Winery for the first time. The Holiday Markets were fun, especially when meeting some of the other vendors. Meeting other creatives is always inspiring! Check out some of the local, natural and/or upcycled awesomeness.
Ziesche is a modernly classic brand of exceptional bath + body products created by Sherri Ziesche. With 20 years in the beauty industry, Sherri wanted to offer an organic, plant based, paraben free, local alternative to her San Francisco clients. Her inspiration comes from [her] travels to European and Asian spas and old-world apothecaries. After meticulous research, her resulting line proves itself....and it doesn't hurt that is smells like the beauty of the natural world - fresh, calming, and naturally beautiful. (I also must note, she was a great booth neighbor!) I'm excited to use the body scrub!
What can you do with abandoned bike inner tubes? Rewind Lab takes them, combines them with New Zealand salvaged wool from production, and makes their Ryder rugs! These rugs can add great texture to any setting. They looked great with the Herman Miller eames® rocker. Check them out, here!
Mafia is a company that takes unwanted sails and turns them into backpacks, tote bags, bags and accessories. Great for the beach, and outdoor adventures. Truly one of a kind.
Bluxome Street Winery was an equally creative filled event with more awesome upcycled-ness. Here are more to check out:
